Laïka Fatien es una magnífica cantante de jazz, con tres discos en el mercado. Nacida en París, cono ascendentes hispamomarroquíes y de Costa de Marfil, en su primer disco rindió homenaje a una de las grandes damas del jazz de todos los tiempos, quizá la referencia más importante junto a Billie Holiday para las jóvenes generaciones. Lo hizo con un tema de la gran cantante, titulado "Throw it away", una de sus canciones más recordadas, un himno a descubrie en la vida lo que importa y lo que puede ser abandonado.
El disco en el que Lika cantó este tema es el titulado "Look At Me Now!" (2006). Aquí la podemos escuchar en directo, en España, interpretando el tema como homenaje a Abbey, que en esos momentos se encontraba ingresada próxima a su fallecimiento.
